Maia Pictures works with OKRE on climate comedy. 2025

Unveiled in November, the Laughing Matters Fellowship 2026 forms part of the impact entertainment organisation’s climate and comedy initiative Laughing Matters, supporting broadcasters to make more comedic climate shows.

The company has selected 10 writer/producer teams from around 100 applications to receive £5,000 of development funding and creative mentoring. Details of their ideas, which span TV, film and digital, have not yet been unveiled.
